The Book Balancer has been helping small to medium sized businesses with their accounting needs for over 17 years. We have found that many business owners struggle to keep up with the day-to-day administration and paperwork required for operation.  We know it is crucial to accommodate our clientele and to tailor our services to meet their business needs. The Book Balancer is certified, skilled and experienced in all aspects of accounting to assist business owners.

Our goal is to focus on producing a profit while reducing your stress, knowing that the necessary requirements are being fulfilled accurately and on time. We evaluate your current business situation and customize a plan to fill your needs.

Meet The Team

Jennifer Clennan – Owner and operator, graduated from Arizona State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She also obtained accreditation through the Intuit-based QuickBooks Pro-Advisor certification course to further assist business owners with commonly used accounting software. Jennifer is a member of NATP and participates as a registered tax return preparer in obtaining her 15 CPE courses yearly. Jennifer is also bonded as a notary with the Secretary of Arizona.

Delmis Juarez – Delmis Juarez has been employed with The Book Balancer since 2015.  She holds a Bachelor of Public Accounting from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Honduras, and worked for other entities in her past to perform accounting functions.  Delmis makes a great attribute to our team in working on client files for reconciliation, adjusting journal entries, and generating financials.  She is also an integral part of coordinating payroll for numerous clients.

Kristin Venekamp – Kristin Venekamp graduated from National College in Rapid City, SD with her Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  Her past work experience includes Controller positions with various entities in South Dakota, and then moving to Vegas to work for a Home Builder in their accounting department.  At The Book Balancer, she works with many clients in follow-up to get action items completed, as well as she assists with all payroll for every client in either getting them set up or fixing issues.  She utilizes her problem-solving skills to deal with all the agencies that we encounter for clients that cover a wide range of tasks.

Karolina Flores – Karolina Flores studied at University de Sinaloa, graduating with her Accounting degree.  She worked at an accounting firm in Tijuana BC, Mexico, before moving on to her own personal business as a bookkeeper.  She has been with the Book Balancer since 2014 and brings her bilingual skills to assist our Hispanic-speaking clients.  Karolina handles reconciliations, payroll, and all accounting functions for our clients here at The Book Balancer.

Pam Trujillo – Pam Trujillo graduated from Clarion State College in May 1979, with a major in accounting and minors in Economics and Marketing.  Pam has been preparing taxes, business and individual,  for 35 years.  She has experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping including preparing and monitoring the monthly financials, preparing payroll including the payroll quarterlies and year-end required returns, tax return preparation, sales tax return preparation and collections.  Pam has been with The Book Balancer since 2014.

Tatum Buck – Tatum Buck graduated from Mountain Pointe High School in 2014.  She attended Arizona Status University from 2014-2017.  She brings her expertise to The Book Balancer of her high productivity, as well as works on a variety of issues that clients have with outside agencies.  Tatum has been with The Book Balancer since 2016.
